Our meeting on Thursday 1st May 2025 is one of our SHOWTIME meetings, it’s being handled by Susan Drew, you are all invited to bring along some of your turnings to show, or just to discuss anything in regards to the item or items you are showing.
You may bring more than one item but there are some changes to procedure that may mean you might not be able to show all of the items you bring along, you may have to prioritise what you bring to show, all will be clear on the night.
I have had a rummage through our archives as usual and I have brought out a few pictures from SHOWTIME meetings in the past, some from as early as 2018 and right up to 2024, here are a few of those pictures.

These were but a very small sample of the items brought in over the last 7years, the Showtime meetings have always been very well supported by all our members over the years, we hope that they will continue to be supported, it’s always fascinating to see other peoples work, it also gives encouragement for others to show their work.
As most of you will be aware this is my last post as blogger for this web site, the site will remain but it appears it will only be as a diary for the club dates and for some of the club information, the blog will no longer happen unless one of you step up to the challenge and take on the blog for the club, I will be here to help anyone wishing to follow in my footsteps, I have done this for the last 6 years and it’s now time for me to let someone else take on this task.
Thank you all for the support you all showed me for doing the blog, it was very much appreciated, especially to all the many followers of this site. THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN.
